| Notes for Henry Brubaker |
Birth and death are from his tombstone. I have a photograph of it taken by Ken Fawley, and the dates are quite clear.
Lowell Beachler instead gives Henry's day of birth as Feb 14 and his day of death as Sep 6 (the years agree).
Prior to the marriage, Henry Brubaker was living in Preble County, Ohio.
This marriage listed on p.36 of Early Marriage Bonds of Ohio, Book 1, A through E, as "Henry Brubacher to Catharine Grisso". It cites the original bond record as being in Book 2, 1832-1845, page 126. Curiously, Early Marriage Bonds of Ohio, Book 2, F through L, does not list this marriage. |
| Census |
1850 census of Preble Co., OH, Lanier twp, lists on p. 322:
Henry Brubaker, 36; Catherine, 36; George, 13; John, 11; Henry, 9; Christian, 7; Solomon, 5. All born in Ohio. |
| Notes for Catharine Grisso |
| Catherine and Henry are buried in the same cemetery, and I have a picture of their tombstones taken by Ken Fawley. |
