The 16 Oct 1795 date for Betsy's birth is from Leona Betteridge. Her source is most likely church records of York Co., Pennsylvania. A descendents chart I have compiled by George Heeter in 1976 gives it as 24 Aug 1807, but that would make her only 13 when she was first married. It would be interesting to know where this very specific, but likely wrong, date came from.
