There is a family listed in the 1850 census of Greenville twp, Darke Co., Ohio, (page 278, taken Aug 15), as:
Brubaker, Abraham, 66, b. PA; Elizabeth, 60, b. VA; Benjamin, 37, b. VA; Harriet, 30, b. Oh; Eliza Ann, 12, b. Oh; Jonathan, 12, b. Oh; Otis, 8; b. Oh; Susan, 6, b. Oh; Elizabeth, 4, b. Oh; Barbara, 2, b. Oh. I strongly suspect that this entry is for this Abraham & Elizabeth, and either Marwin has their birthdates slightly wrong or the census has their ages slightly wrong. Benjamin is probably a son of Abraham, Harriet his wife, and the youngsters their children. |
