Sources vary as to Benjamin's birthdate (see Lowell Beachler's comparison chart.) The 8 Apr 1816 is in the Garst book, as well as in the more definitive 1872 letter from Elizabeth (Rivercomb) Brubaker, wife of Benjamin's brother Abraham, to her mother-in-law Saloma (Eller) Brubaker.
Esther Kemp lists a daughter Salome, born about 1850, married Allen M. Huffman. She does not list which marriage the daughter was born to. Since I do not know the marriage date of Benjamin to Susan Wolfe, and the birth year is only approximate, I am not entering this daughter until I get a more exact birthdate and/or a marriage date for Benjamin's second marriage. |
