From a letter written by Henry & Hannah (Vaniman) Heeter to their son Abraham, dated 11 March 1853, on p. 45 of The Heeter Family Letters: "Jacob Heeter Baby name is Mary Jacob has good times he got him a big Rocking Cradle that he can Set in that is the way he Rock his Baby and him Self I come there one day he sot in the cheer Rocking".
