| Page 33 of the extracts from Dore M. Frantz's document gives Eliza's dates of birth and death, and lists her as "Daughter of G. and E.", which would probably mean George Grisso, Jr. and Eva Huffman. This is unlikely since she was listed as living with Christian Grisso and his second wife Phoebe (Ebersole) Myers in the 1860 census of Clark County, Ohio. Also, her grave is next to that of Samuel Grisso, the son of Christian Grisso and his first wife Elizabeth (Detrick). I suspect that the transcriber of the Frantz manuscript misinterpreted a "C" as a "G." |
