| The index to Wabash Co. death records lists in Bk 1899-05, p. 20, Edith Fern Heeter d. 10-21-1900, age 2 yrs 10 mo 21 days, in North Manchester, burial in Old Union Dunkard Cem. However, Lester Binnie's "Cemetery Records of Chester twp" lists on p. 59, in Pleasant Hill Cem, adjacent to the double stone for Mahlon & Susanna Heeter, a stone for "Edith F. Heeter, dau. of M. & T., died 21 Oct. 1900, age 2-10-21". Apparently she was moved to Pleasant Hill when her parents bought their plot there. (The cemetery of the Old Union Church of the Brethren is small, and many graves have transferred to Pleasant Hill or Oak Lawn.) |
