William Quesenberry 40, farmer, $500; Sarah 38; Lewis 16; Wesley 14; Fleming 11; Ransome 6; Susan E. 5; Sarah J. 2; Caroline E. 2/12. All born in Va. In his annotations to this census, John P. Alderman writes "William was a younger son of Frederick and Mary (Phillips) Quesenberry. He married in 1833 in Floyd, Sarah Cochran, dau of William B. and Rhoda (Pasley) Cochran. The family lived mostly in Floyd and returned there a few years after this census."
