Humphrey Quesenberry in 1695 bought a plantation in the part of then Rappahannock Co., Virginia, which is now in King George Co., and in the years following bought other lands nearby, in the parish of Sittenbourne.
The date of his birth is not known, but assuming that he was at least 21 when he first bought land, he was born not later than 1674, and probably earlier. As his father was born in 1627, and Humphrey was the youngest son, he was probably born when his father was at least 33, which would put a lower bound of 1660 on his birth, with 1665-1670 seeming the most likely range. |
