| Family group listed on pp. 8-9 of The Genealogy of William Tobias Phillips, by Elza Cox. Elza writes here "Braxton had been accused of killing his brother-in-law, Tobias L. Phillips," but he gives no further details. This was presumably in 1831 or 1832 (see notes for said Tobias.) Braxton must not have been convicted of the killing, as he continued to father children. |
