| His obituary in the Rowan County News of Thu, May 29, 1952, somewhat summarized, reads: "Death came Tuesday to Dutch (Harvey) Trent, son of the late Harvey and Rena Lambert Trent. He was born in Virginia Oct 16, 1875, and came to Kentucky in 1884 with his family. He married Mollie Austin, who survives, along with four children: Mrs. Eunice Cornett, Elliottville; Mrs. Sora Jones, West Union, Ohio; Emmitt Trent, Toronto, Oh; and Charlie Trent, West Union. He also leaves two sisters: Ellen Fraley and Mrs. Tye Pettit, both of Yager, W. Va; and a brother, Julius Trent, Elliottville." |
