(All birthplaces are given as three ditto marks, continuing a pattern of Ky Ky Ky from above, but judging by the parents' birthplaces for the other Padgetts of his generation in Rowan and Fleming counties, who all show a mother born in South Carolina and a father in either Virginia or North Carolina, I suspect that the ditto marks for William may be an enumerator's oversight.) |
