| Morgan Co. Ky vital statistics (LDS film 0216835) lists unnamed son b. 25 June 1852 to Jacob Hall & Nancy Brown. This conflicts with the Nov 1852 birthdate for Jesse as shown in the 1900 census. The 1900 census of Rowan Co., though, is extraordinarily inaccurate on birthdates, even more so than most censuses. I suspect the enumerator of making up birthdates to avoid having to visit the homes of families he knew the names for. |
