This is a placeholder for gathering all the Pettits I find in early Kentucky records whose parentage I do not know. This is not intended to represent a family, and no relationship is implied. They are listed roughly in order of increasing age, except that individuals of the same generation found in the same or nearby counties are clustered together.
The scope of the records covered is through 1910 for the counties where my known Pettit relatives lived (Bath, Montgomery, Morgan, Rowan, Fleming, Carter and Elliott), and through 1850 for other parts of Kentucky.
