The 1900 census says his date of birth is Sept 1887; James Reeder had a birthdate for him of 17 Oct 1876, which is more consistent with his marriage record and his death record too.
Index to Kentucky Death Records lists Lewis Riddle, d. 23 Oct 1963, age 87, in Rowan Co., residence same, certificate Vol. 56, #27590.

Lewis Riddle 1876 - 1963
Allie Riddle 18 Jan 1883 - 18 Sep 1931

The same stones are listed under Crix Cemetery on Rt. 1167, except that the dates for Allie are given as 3 Jan 1883 - 12 Sep 1931. Obviously the stones from one cemetery were moved to the other, but I did not make note of which one was the original and which the destination. |
