Rowan Co. birth records, on LDS microfilm #216839, list an H. Hall, male, born 30 Nov 1893 to L. H. Hall and Nanny Prayther, father born Rowan Co., mother born Morgan Co. I don't know what to make of this record. I don't know of any other L. H. Hall in this generation, but the mother's surname doesn't match, and Lewis' and Nanny's first son Harlan was born 5 May 1894, according to his family.
According to Earl McBrayer, Lewis Henry Hall had only one hand. List of children after Lilburn are from list by Mrs. Hassard Hall. It is possible that Roy and Lilburn are the same person, since Mrs. Hall's list has Roy right after Edgar, and she doesn't list a Lilburn.
I cannot find Lewis or Nannie in the Kentucky death index. They probably moved to Indiana. |
