| Family on p. 23, Genealogy of William Tobias Phillips. On page 10, Elza has Mahlon's date of birth as 1830; on p. 23, he has it as 1831. There is no mention of Mahlon and Nellie being twins, so 1830 seems more likely. |

| Tobias L. Phillips will show up as a "Husband" of Rachel Montgomery on family charts, but he and Rachel were not really married. He was the father of her first child, and possibly her second, but I am linking him as the second "spouse" so that Mahlon will show up on the Spouse line in her parent's family group chart. |
