| Anderson C. Quisenberry, in his Genealogical Memoranda of the Quisenberry Family, published in 1897, writes that Elizabeth, daughter of William Quisenberry & Agnace Morton, married Ralph Dickinson. However, in his later article in Colonial Families of the United States, he lists Elizabeth's husband as Benjamin Pendleton, and Ralph Dickinson as the husband of her half-sister Ann. The correction fits with Orange Co. marriage records, which list the marriage of Benjamin Pendleton and Elizabeth Quisenberry on 2 Jun 1796. |
