The birth record index at Kentucky Vital Statistics Dept in Frankfort lists Arthur's birth twice. The index is by child name and mother's maiden name. The first entry is indexed as Arthur Pettit to Mollie Owens on 7-25-1912 in Rowan Co. The second is indexed as Arthur Petitt to Mollie Evans on 7-25-1913 in Rowan Co. I imagine the second was intended as a correction to the first.
Millard says that Arthur's children are Joyce, Kenneth, Roger, and one more son and daughter, and that they live in Washington Courthouse, Ohio. According to his sister Zonie's April 1994 obituary, he was still living there at that date. |
