Further down it says "Grandmother Simmons was born at Lexington Stone House. Father - James O. Pettit, Mother - Mary Ann Frances Blackwell.... Nathan R. Simmons Sr. born Sept. 1, 1842 - died 1916. Mary Jane Pettit, born March 12, 1848. Nathan R. Simmons and Mary Jane Pettit were married December 6, 1865." |
