The family of Sarah Jones & John B. Brown is taken from charts of Gary D. Lewis, 302 E. Second St., Morehead, KY 40351. (606) 784-6341. email glewis@MIS.net Gary is a great-grandson of Farmer R. Brown and Celia Burton, through their son Willie Lastie Brown.
He lists their marriage date as 1 Jun 1876, but their daughter Mary E. was born in 1875 according to her death certificate, cemetery records, and the 1880 census. So I suspect that they were really married in 1874 or 1875. |
