| This family was in Howard Crose's database that I imported, but I am suspicious of it. For one thing, the only Isaac Jones in Morgan Co. marriage records or the 1850 Morgan Co. census is Isaac N. Jones, son of William Jones, who married Jane McDaniel on 1 Nov 1841, and the child list for this family is nothing like Isaac Newton Jones' large family. So it doesn't fit well that this couple is reported to have married in 1848 in Morgan County and had children born there in 1849 and 1851. For another thing, Charles Jones and Barbary Crose were in Martin Co., Indiana by 1841. |
