Willie Black, b. Jan 73, age 27; Litha J., b. 80, age 19, married 8 yrs, 4 children, 3 living; Sarah B., b. May 94, age 6; Mary A., b. Apr 96; age 4; Martin, b. May 99; age 1; Martha Black, mother, widow, b. Aug 40, age 59. William was listed as age 5 in 1880, so the year of birth may be wrong. Martha is listed as the mother of 1 child (& 1 living), which is obviously wrong. Maybe she thought the question was how many people in that household were her children.
1910 census of Rowan Co., Ky, Hogstown, E.D. 156, p. 6B, records as family #102:
Black, Willie, 38; Letha J., 28; married 18 years, 8 children, 7 living; Mary A. (Sarah B. on same line, crossed out) daughter, 15 overwritten by 13; Martin, 11; Leander, 10; Darsey, 7; Peachey, 5; Maston, 2. All family members and their parents born in Kentucky.
(Sarah is apparently crossed out because she is also enumerated with family #99:
Brown, Andrew, 69; Martha, 70; married 3 years, second marriage for both, Martha mother of 7 children, 4 living; Black, Sarah B., granddaughter, 14. Sarah is a step-granddaughter to Andrew Brown, but the enumerator left off "step" a lot.)

According to Omer Trent, Letha was also rumored to have dabbled in black magic, hexes, etc. According to their last surviving child, Alice Black Cox of Knightstown, Indiana, Willie and Letha had 16 children total, including two sets of twins. Alice is not sure where in the birth order John and Henry come in, but she is sure that Lizy was the baby as she was next to her and also Lizy did not live through childhood.
