| The birth certificates of her children variously give her name as Mary Guy or Virginia Guy. Her death certificate (#90 30749) gives her name as Mary Virginia Susan Petitt, and says that she was born Dec 19, 1898, in Kentucky, that her father was Pete Guy and her mother's maiden name Rebecca Holbrook. She was widowed. She died 30 June 1990, at age 91, in Sharpsburg, where she resided, of myocardial infarction (a heart attack), and was buried in Crown Hill Cemetery. The informant was her son Millard Petitt, Jr. |
