(The 1900 census says that he was born Sep 1888, but it lists him between his sisters Celia b. Jan 1889 and Connie b. May 1893, so the 1890 date is likely correct.) |

| Her gravestone next to Clell J. Jones has the dates Nov 6, 1892 to Aug 1, 1994, but that date of birth is inconsistent with the 1900 census, which lists her as age 5, born Mar 1895, and with a sister Cynthia age 8 born Feb 1892. In the 1910 census, though, she is listed as age 7 and Cynthia is listed as age 20, which would be consistent with the dates on her stone. |

Parents are not listed in the register (and the marriage is not recorded in the license books), but the groom is apparently Clell J. Jones (b. 1890), son of Isaac Jones, because marriage license book 8 records the marriage of Clell H. Jones (b. 1893), s/o William J. Jones, to Bessie Hollan on 28 Nov 1912.
(Clell and Lucy were first cousins, because Isaac Jones was a brother of her father James Boyd Jones. On the same day, Clell J.'s sister Connie married Clester McKinney, and Clell H.'s sister Bessie married Bernard Day.) |
