| Anderson C. Quisenberry, on p. 425 of his article in Colonial Families of the United States, lists as a daughter of Aaron Quisenberry Jr., "Joyce, m. William Reynolds", and as a daughter of William Quisenberry, "Jane, m. __ Smith and settled in Kentucky". But Orange Co. marriage records instead show Joice Quisenberry m. Oswald Smith on 22 Dec 1800, and Jane Quesinberry m. William Reynolds on 24 Jan 1803. A.C.Q.'s informant apparently got the names reversed. (The Jane that married William Reynolds, though, was not William's daughter, but rather the daughter of George Quisenberry and Jane Daniel.) |
