Social Security Death Index lists Clell Jones, b. 2 Jan 1893, d. Feb 1987, SSN 304-16-5388 issued in Indiana, last residence Morehead, KY. (The 1900 census appears to say that he was born in Jun 1893. Probably one of these entries was misread. June seems to fit better with the spacing of children, but January is consistent with the age at death reported in his obituary.)
His obituary says Clell H. Jones, died Feb 28, 1987, age 94, son of William and Lou (Hall) Jones. Survived by daughters Faye Jones & Hazel Gianakoupolas, brothers Lige, Clint and Harold, sisters Damie Roberts, Inez Perry, Myrtie Hamm, Beatrice Robinson, and Thelma Barrett. |
