| Her obituary in the Morehead News of 5 March 1996 reads, "Vada Ethel Jones Dehart, 90, of 2885 Big Perry Road, Morehead, died Friday, March 1, at the Life Care Center in Morehead. She was born July 28, 1905, in Elliott County to the late Jim and Evaline Brown Jones. She was a former cook and waitress in several restaurants in the Morehead area. She was preceded in death by her husband Levi Dehart in 1953; a son, Atley Dehart and an infant daughter, Patricia Dehart. Surviving are four sons, Medford Dehart of Mt. Sterling, Ray Dehart of Mooresville, Ind., Eddie Dehart of Morehead, Paul Dehart of Morehead; four daughters, Eunice Richardson and Virginia Rutherford both of Moorseville, Margaret Cox of Morehead, and Fern Williams of Chesapeake, Va. Also surviving are 24 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren." |
