| According to his biography in "The History of White Co.", p.483, Benjamin moved from Miami Co., Ohio to Marion Co., Ohio in 1853, where he stayed for 13 years before coming to White Co., Indiana. Benjamin is most likely son of Amos or Henry J., as David, Amos' brother married in 1826, and Alexander and John appeared to have taken their families to Indiana by 1845. Benjamin and his family appear in the 1850 census for Marion Co., OH. Near are Elizabeth 59, Job D. age 22. ANother house: David 40, Catherine 38 et al. |
