Automated Ancestry CD #002 and CD #229 both list a marriage of John H. Quisenberry & Betsy Bennett on 1 Sep 1840 in Madison Co. There is no marriage listed for a John Quisenberry and any Bennett in Clark Co.; this is clearly the marriage listed in the IGI as Patsy Bennett ca 1843.
[John H. appears in the LDS Ancestral File twice as a son of Joel Quisenberry, both times with a wife Patsy Bennett; as NGDH-M7 and NGDH-ND his birthdate is given as about 1825 and Patsy's as about 1827 and their marriage date as about 1847; as LNDT-T0 and LNDT-V5 his birthdate is given as 12 Oct 1818, Patsy's as about 1822, and their marriage date as about 1843.] |
