Her obituary in the Morehead News read "Nola G. Baldridge, 81, formerly of Shelby, Ohio died Friday, Dec. 17 [1999] at the Community Healthcare Center in Marion, Ohio after an extended illness.
She was born March 22, 1918 at Rowan County to the late Charles and Dora Arnold Dillon. A member of the Church of God, she retired in 1979 from the Quanex Corporation after 30 years of service and was a member of the Quanex Retirement Club where she served as past president.
She was preceded in death by three sisters, Lily, Ethel and Berthie Dillon and two brothers, Homer and Harlan Dillon.
Surviving are two sons and daughters in law, Bill James and Janie Baldridge of Morehead and Larry David and Pam Baldridge of Springfield, Ohio, three daughters, Betty Jean Baldridge of Shelby, Ohio, Phyllis and Larry Robinette of Shelby, Ohio, and Janet and David Keipp of Pataskia, Ohio, eight grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, and three sisters, Gladys Skaggs of Mansfield, Ohio, Marie Lambert of Ft. Wayne, Ind. and Stella Glover of Morehead.
Funeral services were conducted Monday, Dec. 20 at the Turner Funeral Home at Shelby, Ohio with the Rev. Tim Schrock, pastor of the First Church of God, officiating, burial in the Oakland Cemetery in Shelby, Ohio. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Alzheimers Association, 1 Marion Avenue, Mansfield, Ohio, 44901." |
