| Her obituary in the Ashland newspaper reported "Nora Jean DeHart, 69, of Blackburn Avenue, died Wednesday in King's Daughters Medical Center. Mrs. DeHart was born March 11, 1930 in Carter County, a daughter of the late Walter and American Ann Wells McKinney. She attended Ashland Baptist Church. Surviving are her husband, Ernest Elmo DeHart; 3 sons, Earnest Arnold DeHart, Billy Gene DeHart and James Franklin DeHart, all of Ashland; 3 daughters, Judy Simpson and Robin Kellough, both of Ashland, and Rene Donna DeHart of Chattanooga, Tenn. Six brothers, the Rev. George Frank McKinney and the Rev. Ed McKinney, both of Rush, the Rev. Jack McKinney of Grayson, Ray McKinney of Catlettsburg and Paul McKinney and Woodrow McKinney, both of Ashland. Three sisters, Amanda Gullett of Rush, Leona Rucker of Ashland, and Kathleen Gollihue of Willard; 10 grandchildren; and three g-grandchildren. The funeral will be conducted at 1:00 pm Friday at Steen Funeral Home-Ashland Chapel by Dr. C.J. Adkins. Burial will be in Ashland Cemetery." | ||||||
