Her obituary in the Morehead News of Fri, Jun 6, 1997 says:
"Dublin, Ind. - Ruby M. Reynolds, 83, died unexpectedly Tuesday, June 3 at the Henry County Memorial Hospital. She was born Feb. 20, 1914 in Farmers to the late John W. and Nettie Rose Myers Jones.
She was a graduate of the Class of 1931 from the Olive Hill Christian School for Girls. She married Anthony Reynolds on Dec. 17, 1932 in Farmers. She lived in the Straughn area most of her life, was a homemaker and a member of the South Memorial Drive Church of God in New Castle.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony W. Reynolds on Jan. 19, 1993; two sisters, Edith Adkins and Hazel Reynolds who lived in Morehead. Surviving are two daughters, Hilda Vaughn of New Castle and Helen Pickett of Lewisville; eight grandchildren including Jim Pickett whom she raised; eight great-grandchildren; one great-great grandson; one sister, Pearl Reynolds of Clovis, N.M., two brothers, John M. "Pete" Jones and Malcolm Jones, both of Morehead." |
