Rowan Co. marriage register A, p. 71, records marriage of James Ginter and Elizabeth Gregory, on 7 Jun 1886. It is also recorded in marriage bond/license book 1, p. 85, with attached parental consent notes for both bride and groom, Daniel H. Ginter consenting for his son James, and James H. Grigory consenting for his daughter Elizabeth. The bond surety is by A. W. Young.
This marriage didn't last long, since Elizabeth remarried just two years later, using her maiden name, but I don't know whether it ended in divorce or James died. |
