| His stone in Jones Cemetery says 1888-1972, but Larry Gregory <nicholsbranch@aol.com> says that he was born August 1887. The closest match in the Kentucky Death Index and the SSDI is a "Sam Gregory" who died 20 Jun 1972 in Greenup Co., Ky, born 24 July 1888, Social Security number issued in Kentucky, last residence Barboursville, Cabell Co., West Virginia. But I don't know if it is the same person. |
