| Lizzie is with her parents in the 1860 census, listed as age 20, and with her son John Tom Pettit in the 1910 census, listed as age 65 (she was really about 70.) I have not found her in 1870 or 1880. There is a possibility that she is the Lizzie Pettit listed as age 53 with James L. Pettit in the 1900 census, but if so, she is mislabelled as being a "widow". |
