I was sent a photograph of his gravestone taken by his great-granddaughter Vickie Lester; it says FYFFE Earlie 1896-1964 and Elva 1896-1981. The 1896 birthdates are not consistent with the Social Security or death certificate records; it is possible that the Social Security records are wrong, but it is more likely that the descendants who ordered the stone did not know the correct birthdates. |
