| I could not find any Morgan County marriage record for a Brown groom to a bride named Amanda in the appropriate time frame. Amanda's husband is very likely to be a son of James Wallace Brown and Nancy Auxier, since the widowed Amanda was living next door to Harvey Brown and Huldah Cassity in 1850. It is possible that he is the James Brown listed as marrying "America Cooper" on 13 Nov 1828. I could find no James Brown with wife named anything like America in the 1850 census of Morgan Co. |
