Deb Howard's web site, citing Frank Elam, lists John's second marriage as Dora Bays Gross, on 7 Sep 1931. The Cassity/Cassidy Family Association web site lists it as Dora E. Bayes on 25 Dec 1934, with the note that Bayes is possibly her name from a previous marriage. It is not listed in Rowan Co. under either year. I should check Morgan Co. records.
