His WWI draft registration card, issued in 1917/1918 (the images on Ancestry do not show the side of the card that has the date it was filed), says Perry Arthur Hall, age 20, residence Wagner, Ky, born 20 Aug 1898, occupation farmer, employer George Hall, nearest relative George Hall.

According to their daughter Pauline, Perry and Hessie moved to Shelby, Ohio in July of 1929.

Rowan Co. marriage book 11, p. 40, records the marriage on 13 Dec 1918 of Perry Hall, 20, born in and resident of Rowan Co., son of George W. & Nancy A. Hall, to Hessie Lewis, 18, born in and resident of Rowan Co., dau of Albert & Emaline Lewis, at the bride’s home by W. F. Lambert, witnesses Oliver Lewis & Bessie Lewis.

Hall, Perry, 21; Hessie, 19; Homer, 7/12.

The margin identifies the location as “Ridge Road between Slab Camp and Minor Creek”. The preceding family is that of Perry’s parents and siblings, and the following family is Hessie’s.

1930 census of Shelby, Richland Co., Ohio, enumerated 16 April, lists on p. 19A at 143 North Broadway, as family #376/388:
