Notes for Amanda Jane Alfrey
Amanda was widowed for the second time at age 30, and never remarried.
Her death certificate records Mandy Roberds, age 73, born 1848 in Ky, widowed, died 24 April 1921 in Salt Lick, Bath Co., Ky, father Fielding Alfrey, mother’s maiden name Patsy Johnson, cause of death diarrhea enteritis, informant Ed Myers, Salt Lick, burial in Jones Cemetery.
Since she was listed as age 6 in 1850 and age 16 in 1860 (and first married in late 1857), she was probably really born in 1843, or early 1844 at the latest. The 1910 census says July 1843.

In 1900 through 1920 Amanda was listed with her daughter Addie and son-in-law Ed Myers, see their notes for details.
