Notes for Harvey Kegley
Be careful not to confuse him with his first cousin Harvey Kegley son of James Henry Kegley and Chloe Susan Cox, who was two years younger, and married Tabitha Dickerson.

His WWI Draft Registration card, issued in 1917/1918 (the images on Ancestry do not show the side of the card that has the date it was filed), says Harvey Kegley, age 26, residence Wagner, Ky, born 14 Feb 1892 in Ky, occupation farmer, self-employed, married, supporting a wife.

His gravestone in Kegley-Nickell Cemetery instead has his birthdate as 14 Jan 1891. The 1900 census said Feb 1893.
